The choice of recycled materials, such as recycled cotton and polyester, is not just an option. It’s the only choice we can make if we are serious about transforming the textile industry and protecting our planet. By prioritising the use of recycled resources, we break free from the harmful cycle of exploiting virgin materials and continue towards virtuous loop of sustainability.
At IQONIQ, we believe real change starts with clear choices. That’s why we’ve made a bold commitment: we only work with durable recycled materials.
By using fabrics made from a single fibre, like 100% cotton or 100% polyester, we eliminate the complexity that comes with blends. No mixing, no confusion.
This choice isn’t just about materials. It’s about making recycling truly possible. Today, sorting and separating blended textiles remains one of the biggest obstacle to circular fashion. Durable recycled materials simplify that process, making it easier to give products a second life.
It’s about designing with the end in mind. Because low impact isn’t a feature, it’s our foundation.

At Iqoniq, we’ve made a deliberate choice to focus on just two materials: one natural and one synthetic. Our natural option is cotton, sourced either organically or from recycled fibres. The synthetic counterpart is recycled polyester, made entirely from post-consumer waste.
Recycled cotton reduces the strain on agricultural land, water resources and textile waste, while recycling polyester helps tackle the growing issue of plastic waste.
Together, these carefully chosen fibres represent a powerful opportunity to mitigate the industry’s environmental footprint and foster a new standard in eco-conscious production.
By limiting our material palette to these two low-impact options, we ensure greater transparency, better recyclability, and more control over the full product lifecycle. Simple by design, powerful by purpose.
