The clothing industry is changing.

Our Story.

We all wish our products don’t impact the environment. The truth is that they all do to some extent. Fortunately, we can lower the impact we have. This is why Iqoniq launched the low impact clothing, 100% cotton, 50% organic and 50% recycled.

We believe it’s not up to brands to label themselves with sustainable claims. We believe it’s up to brands to be honest and clear about how their products are made. Iqoniq doesn’t use claims such as sustainable, green or eco friendly.

Iqoniq’s mission is to inspire the clothing industry to become more transparent in how environmental impacts are being reduced, so that you as a consumers can make informed decisions on what clothing brand you should wear. We give solid facts: the Aware™ Virtual ID. A digital product passport with data powered by the Aware™ tracer and blockchain technology.

All our styles are unisex fit

This means that our product sizing is made based on men’s morphology and smaller sizes are adapted to also fit women’s morphology. Our products are all season round styles, existing in three groups of colours: undyed heather colours, essential dyed colours and seasonal colours. The choice is yours!

Environmental Impact Assessment by Made2Flow

We collaborate with Made2Flow, a company specialized in textile impact calculations for the fashion industry, to calculate three types of impact: GHG (Greenhouse Gas/CO2 Footprint), water footprint and land footprint.

Based on primary research (so data directly from our supply chain), these three types of impact are calculated and shared for each Iqoniq product.

We also include a benchmark for comparison under each impact type. The savings shown is the percentage that is saved relative to the benchmark product when customers choose Iqoniq products.

Our goal is to be as transparent as possible

Fully traceable & block chain verification by AWARE™

How can you be sure that the sustainability claims we make are trustable? We aim to avoid greenwashing and prove that final products are made from sustainable materials. Therefore we teamed up with Aware™, a traceability platform that makes data public to track and validate the end-to-end impact of sustainable textiles from origin to you. Powered by tracer and blockchain technologies.

In house we only decorate with the following 3 low impact decoration techniques. The inks used in those techniques hold an OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT.

1) Digital Transfer :

DTF is the most suitable decoration that allows any type of picture to be printed on a foil and heat pressed on to the garment.

2) Screen transfer :

ST is similar technique as DTF where the image is transferred on the foil using screen printing.

3) Embroidery :

Remains the most noble decoration technique that can enhance your product to become a real piece of art !
Combination of heat press and embroidery is possible and gives to the garment a valuable 3D effect.
